Charbucks - The verdict stands.

So, out of respect for a friend who I was hanging with at the local Starbucks, I decided, after much deliberation to go ahead & order a cup of thier weakest blend.

The verdict stands: Starbucks is still a very crappy cup of "coffee".

Personal Space Limits

Part of everybody's high schooling curriculum, should include a short course on "respecting personal space".

It should focus on the fine art of properly discerning when you''ve invaded someones personal space, by observing body language.

It kills me when I'm talking with certain individuals, and they don't pick up the fact that I'm slowly walking backwards while they continue to talk.
What do they think, it's some sort of a game?
Like, "oooh, I'll back you into the corner & then talk talk talk!!! and you'll NEVER get away!!! BWAHAHAHHAH"

sheeesh!

Miracle(s) on Bramhall Street

So I was thinking a few weeks ago after the birth of my third child, (who like my 2nd was born prematurely), that there are many many babies that are born these days who simply wouldn't have a chance only a few years ago.

Thanks to modern medicine, heat lamps, bilirubin tests and things like automatic BP monitors, we can enjoy safe delivery way before full term.

Kinda cool.
Makes me thankful for my job, my benefits, the hospital I work for & use, etc.

BTW, what was YOUR apgar score?
